Rappahannock resident charged with
sexual abuse
Boston resident Oscar Robert Lemen, 47, turned himself in to Albemarle County police officials on the night of November 6. Lemen faced 18 felony indictments charging him of sexually abusing a teenage girl.
The alleged abuse occurred in Albemarle County between November 2004 and June 2005. In December of 2005, Lemen was arrested in Madison County and was charged with several counts of having carnal knowledge of a minor.
Lemen had been working as a bus mechanic for the Madison County Public Schools'. In August 2006, a Madison County jury found Lemen not guilty of the charges and was released.
Lemen is currently being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. Drunkards in public
