Schwartz said the commist sion and the Architectural t Review Board are planning to 5 organize a work session to disi cuss the possible ramifications of changing the town’s boundaries. They are also working to finalize historic district guidelines for the town. The joint meeting of the planning commission and the ARB scheduled for Nov. 9 was canceled.
Town Attorney John Bennett said these types of issues are complex and can drag i on for years. He gave the example of Culpeper, where the town ! and county have been in a boundary dispute for more than » 20 years. Bennett said it might be worthwhile for the town to f hire a land planner for assistance during the process.
