Nov. 18: Free Stage Combat

and Safety Workshop

Brad Waller, of Stage Combat and Fight Choreography will offer a free workshop at the School House in Sperryville on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 11 a. m. to l.p.m Brad has worked extensively with The Shakespeare Theatre Company and the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D. C. He has organized international conferences on stage movement and hopes to mount an exhibition on Elizabethan combat and dance at the Globe Theatre in London. He has been invited to train the cast of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" but anyone, male or female, may attend. It is recommended that the minimum age is 10. Adults are also invited. Call Charlene James-Duguid at (540) 937-4727 to reserve a space. The "Pageant" will be performed at the School House as the first experiment in using it for large scale production and community activities. Performances are Dec. 8, 9, at 7 and Dec. 10 at 2 p. m.

of Directors Meeting

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection Board of Directors meets at the library, with social time at 7 p.m. and business meeting at 7:30 p.m. . Future Business Leaders of America will be raising money for ASK (Association for the Support of Children with Cancer) on Tuesday, November 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cold Stone Creamery in Warrenton. Please come out and support ASK and enjoy delicious ice cream.
