The DeBergh’s have two grown sons, Van and Robb, who are both working to obtain their degrees - Van is in his third year of Law School at American University and Robb is working on his PhD in Bio Chemistry at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School.
When asked about his appointment to the Board of Directors of Rappahannock National Bank, Mr. DeBergh responded, “I am excited about joining the Board of Directors, particularly at a time when the bank is expanding. By nature, I am a very competitive person and have always been interested in the activities and development of our community. I believe there is great potential in Rappahannock County, as well as surrounding areas, for Rappahannock National Bank to grow their business and am eager to be involved in meeting that challenge.”
