Management position in the Engineering Division responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Quality Assurance, Plan Review and Inspection/Enforcement Programs to ensure compliance with Virginia Erosion & Sediment Handbook and State/Local regulations. Responsible for monitoring to ensure quality of responses to citizen complaints and resolution of field problems. Develop and implement a field audit program and provide work supervision and training for E&S Engineering Technicians. Must have the ability to develop and foster strong, team:oriented relationships with fellow employees, County officials, contractors and the general public. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and at least two years experience in erosion and sediment control, engineering or related field. Must have Certification as Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector, Plans Reviewer and Program Administrator by the State of Virginia. Valid driver's license and driving record check required.
