Sunday’s unexpected snow may have caused havoc on the highways but its powdery consistency was perfect for making snowmen. While some of these rotund Frostys dotted the Rappahannock landscape, there were other artists in residence who created unique snow creatures that The Rappahannock News felt compelled to share. As with sand castles on the beach or colorful chalk drawings on the cement, their presence was temporary and enjoyed for the moment before they melted away.
