were able to upgrade to the newer version with CDs and the music has started to ring out across Amissville again! It was installed around the end of January. If you haven’t heard it yet and would like to the carillon chimes at noon and 6 p m. Monday through Friday.

On Saturdays you can hear the chimes at 8 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. And on Sunday they play at 9:30, 12:15 and 6 p.m. Thanks to the more modem system no one has to be at the church to push,the button to start the music. The new system even includes a timer.

And lest you think that the church has completely abandoned the more traditional bells, the old bell is still in the church tower and still rings
