Bessie Ellen Jenkins, 89, formerly of Sperryville went to her heavenly home Sunday, February 25, at Royal Haven Rest Home in Front Royal'
She was bom September 30, 1917 in Sperryville to the late John Walker and Bessie Sisk Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Luray Pentecostal Church in Luray, VA. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a friend to all.
She is survived by four sons, George Raymond and his wife, Elizabeth of Suffolk, VA.; Charles and his wife, Betty of Sperryville; Clifton “Tippy” and his wife, Dottie of Sperryville; and James and his wife, Mary Anna of Orange, VA; a daughter, Mary Wines of Front Royal, VA, and a son-in-law, El wood Jenkins of Sperryville.
