Wakefield Country Day School
Mark Jaster, a mime artist who has appeared a! the Kennedy Center and Wolf Trap, is scheduled to appear at Wakefield Country Day School on Wednesday, March 7, at 10 am. in the Leonard M. Cowherd Auditorium. Wakefield is extending an invitation to Rappahannock County families who would Gke to join them for the performance, subject to seating availability. The performance is appropriate for children in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The presentation, entitled ‘The Maestro,’ should last about 30-40 minutes and includes comedy with sheet music and a music stand, a miniature concertina played atop a precarious pile of packages, a conducted clapping routine, and a hat trick finale. Jaster’s work has been described as “...using wordless wit, kinetic humor and playful interaction.” Mr. Jaster trained under Marcel Marceau and appeared last year at Chateauville to rave reviews. Nonprofit Center luncheon
The Rappahannock Nonprofit Center win host a networking luncheon on Wednesday, March 7 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the RNPC office at The Schootoouse in SperryviHe, below Antique Tables Made Daily The initial luncheons were a great success and the non profits present at the last meeting requested that we continue them through May.
