Rappahannock County is a front runner candidate to serve as host community of the 6th Annual RRRC Living Ibwns Planning Workshop. The purpose of the popular annual workshop series is “to bring together representatives of the region’s towns with those of public and private sector entities to network and exchange information on planning, revitalization and the preservation of towns as vital economic living centers.” Among other goals of the program are to share ideas for planning and quality of life; preserve historic and natural heritage; promote networking among communities; integrate resources from multiple state resources, and to enhance regional identity and community.
