Kim Nelson at the Hair Gallery was busy on Wednesday morning.
She was showing Wendy Dauria her sunny space in one of the back rooms already set up with a shiny new table.
The Town of Washington will now have their own nail lady and it’s likely that many in the county will be making appointments as well.
For Dauria, this is a logical next step for her already existing business bringing manicures to your home. A State Licensed and Board Certified nail technician, Dauria currently has customers in the Shenandoah Valley area. She fives in Luray.
But for two days a week, she plans to be available by appointment at The Hair Gallery in Washington.
“I'm retired,” smiled Dauria who flashed an attractive set of tropical colored nails as she surveyed her new surroundings. “This is always something that I thought I could do and so several years ago, I attended the Virginia School of Nails Humph and got certified”
