On May 24, 2007, Executive Director of Human Resources and Instruction resigned to become a Middle School Principal in another school division.
According to Superintendent Bob Chappell: “Mr. Covington told me that he really missed working with teachers and students at the school level. Dave served with distinction as RCES Principal for three years and worked tirelessly and diligently to master the complex role of Executive Director of HR and Instruction. We wish him the best in his new work.”
