Pursuant tp Section 170-136 o* the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of &ning Appeals for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday. June 27, 2007, at seven-thirty (7:30) in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street in Washington, Virginia. Consideration shall be given to all applications presented in accordance with submission requirements.
VARIANCE *07-06-02 Five Forks Regular Baptist Church by Marshall Burke, Trustee, hereby applies for a front yard setback variance of 15 feet, from 100 feet required, in order to build an addition. The Church is currently 27 feet from the centerline of Rt. 620. The 12-foot addition would leave it 15 feet from the centerline. The Church is located at 686 Rudasill Mill Road, Woodville (Tax Map 39, Parcel 36, Stohewall-Hawthorne District, zoned A'Agricultural). Variances allowed pursuant to Section 170-136 of the Rappahannock County Code.
No applicant or other party in interest, and no attorney for an applicant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA for tne purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the merits of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in pny such private discussion. Site visits or similar contacts initiated by BZA members shall not constitute such ex parte contacts. A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. The above-named applicant, adiacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Zoning Appeals, c/o P.O.
