University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year, a school that accepts less than 10 percent of out-of-state applicants. He was also a finalist for UNC’s Morehead Scholarship. He served as President of the Student Council Association, President of the Senior Class, and President of the Technology Student Association. Vickers was also a founding member of the International Club and was the student representative to the Rappahannock County School Board and Next Step Program. Vickers was part of the Cross Country team , and received the RCHS award for personal fitness. He also served as editor of .the Yearbook, marking every page with his creativity. In addition to Vickers’ time spent at school, he has worked four jobs, often working more than 20 hours/week and has performed community service as a member of the Luray Downtown Initiative and the Boy Scouts.
