If you stop by on a Saturday morning to buy some meat, you’ll find quite a variety. They sell both beef and pork. The first layer is 9 months freezer paper. Then that’s wrapped again in plastic wrap.
Once you’ve discovered how good this stuff is you may want to buy larger quantities for your freezer. They do sell half and whole sides of beef Now might be the time to invest in that extra freezer!
Gene Adams is looking to the future and is already contemplating expanding their retail distribution beyond Amissville. And this is a local business that deserves huge success. But for now, I’m enjoying my own local source of great meat!
