Throughout her high school years, Kevis managed to strike a healthy balance among her varied interests, maintaining an honors average while also participating in intramural sports, developing her horseback riding skills, and serving her community. When asked to describe, a faculty member at Wakefield Country Day School remarked, “Kale’s strength and character are admirable. She is an excellent role model for others, and she teaches charity and commitment by her own personal example.’* Kate is a favorite not only among her peers but among toe youngest students at the school. This year, she had an opening in her schedule and could easily have taken the period as a study hal. Instead, she chose to mentor students in Kindergarten - a perfect example of her giving nature.
