Instructor: Davette Leonard Young artists will experiment with fun techniques, while discovering how colors are mixed, blended and layered to create beautiful effects. At the end of the week, students’ art work will be on display for the public to enjoy. A Taste of Musical Theatre Open to rising 4-7th graders Instructor: Charlene James-Duguid American musical theatre is full of wonderful songs. Students will practice “Acting a song!’ Young actors do not have to know how to sing for this workshop. They will learn to speak on pitch and use story telling talents to perform a song. The workshop’s performance will be developed by the students, full of their favorite show songs. Culinary + Farm-To-Table Open to rising 5-7th graders Instructor: Trista Scheuerlein This workshop will combine an introduction to Culinary Arts with Farm-To-Table. Students will harvest fresh produce, learn to cook what they’ve grown, and share delicious menus at home and in our local community. The week ends with homemade blackberry ice cream!
