Courtney Logan Pooton, Spenyville, Virginia, will exhibit Angus cattle at the 2007 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show in Harrisburg, Penn., June 22-24, reports John Crouch, executive vice president of the American Angus AssodationSM.

Courtney Logan, a junior member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Missouri, is one of 227 young Angus breeders from 22 states who have entered a total of 451 head to compete for championship honors.

Cheramie Viator, Franklin, Tfexas, will judge divisions for bred-and-owned heifers, bredand-owned bulls, cow-calf pairs, owned heifers, and registered Angus steers. Deadlines extended

Due the volume of interest and requests for information, the Rappahannock Business Alliance is extending the deadlines for submitting listing and ad information. For the “Rappahannock County Virginia-A Visitor’s Guide”, the deadline is now June 16. As previously mentioned in last weeks paper, the visitor's guide will be a 4” x 9 “ brochure, printed at a quantity of 25,000, and distributed around the state. We also will include your listings an three different websites.
