Agriculture B. C. I. A. Performance TestecfBull Sale
Two performance tested senior bull sales, sponsored by the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association, are scheduled in January. The first sale will be held at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, this Saturday, January 20th at 12:00 Noon.
The second sale will be held Saturday, January 27th at the Red House Bull Evaluation Center at Red House, Virginia.
There will be 56 performance tested bulls selling in the January 20th Culpeper sale including 27 Angus, 22 Polled Hereford, 1 Hereford and 6 Simmentals.
Bulls selling represent the top performing two-thirds of all bulls tested in the senior groups this year. Bulls are of service age and have very complete performance records including weaning weight, test gain, adjusted 365 day yearling weight, as well as yearling hip height, fat thickness and other scores.
These performance tested bull sales offer an excellent opportunity for feeder calf producers to obtain breeding bulls to up grade and improve their herds. FARM RECORD BOOKS, expenses and receipts; and the Farmer’s Tax Guide - 1979
