Rate Increase

Potomac Edison sent out notices to its customers this week that the utility has filed an application with the State Corporation Commission, requesting a S6.222,761 permanent increase in its rates and charges for electrical service to be effective for service rendered on and after March 1, 1979.
A public hearing on the application is scheduled for February 9, at 10 a.m. in the SCC courtroom, Blanton Building, Richmond.
