Hunting is a legal sport ■%t5d * ‘hiintin^ bobcats generally takes a skilled hunter to bag this quarry, according to a game official. There is an official hunting season for bobcats in the state. Hunting also helps nature to regulate the animal population whether it be deer, bear or whatever. A close account of animal kill is kept so that none will become an endangered species. There are not many bobcats killed in this area, so apparently hunters are proud of their accomplishments and wish their achievement known. I believe that in the 22 years I have been with this newspaper I have taken pictures of three of these animals.—S.L.
