With little further discussion, the Board members voted unanimously to adopt the revised teacher evaluation policy effective for the 1979-80 school year.
In other action, the Board:
—turned down the bid from ARA food services to take over the lunch programs at both schools,
—gave final approval to the senior class trip to New York City, „
—approved repayment of 7.66 per cent of capital outlay costs to Piedmont Technical School over a ten year period at no interest, —received copies of the state required six-year plan that will be adopted at the next Board meeting,
— approved Health Department screenings for scoliosis, a deformity of the spinal column. —learned that new school warning lights had been ordered in early December with delivery promised within 60 days. The lights, costing $470 apiece, will be installed as soon as they are received.
