Ski Corporation president Janies Moore stated his support of the amendment revisions (proposed initially
the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection.)
“I’d be perfectly happy to see those amendments passed,” said Moore in a telephone interview on Monday. Acknowledging that he wasn’t a county resident and so wouldn’t lobby the Supervisors for adoption or denial, Moore stated that his company’s only direct interest lay with the portion of the September amendments that allow outdoor commercial on land zoned B-2. (The Planners have suggested no changes to the B-2 section of the amendments.)
Moore added that adoption of revisions requiring a special use permit for outdoor commercial recreation in conservation
