that the shooting range will be used by tha Battle Mountain Hunt Club for fund raising matches on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. Proceeds will go towards renting land for club members to hunt on during hunting season, she said. In addition, club by-laws call for the hunt group to cooperate with other clubs and organizations in sharing the use of the shooting range for fund raising ventures.
According to Mrs. Eckhardt, membership in the club is open to “interested and active men and women who are willing to work.” Membership ceiling currently stands at 24 but Mrs. Eckhardt said this would probably be raised.
