Club will celebrate next Sunday, May 20 as Ruritan Sunday. All members and their families are welcome to attend the services to be held at the Chester Gap Baptist Church.
The Rappahannock District Ruritan Zone Meeting was held Tuesday, May 8 at the Virginia Gentleman Restaurant in Front Royal. Those from the Chester Gap Club attending were the Rev. William Alford, Stanley Williams, Gilbert Smith, Sherman Williams, Hubie Gilkey, Leo Williams, Anderson North, Bennie Atkins and Lonnie Williams. Other members of the club attending were Ottie Ralls of Warrenton and Henry Lunceford of Amissville.
Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Holdaway Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Phillips and Brandon of Hamilton.
Weekend visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Mills were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris and Tammy of Manassas and Mrs. Rosie Mae Bussey of Salem.
