Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly will hold its sixth annual French Festival on Thursday, May 17. The program will begin in the morning with the showing of a film entitled "Chronique de France”. Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will have its quarterly program meeting Friday, June 1 at the courthouse in Washington, at 7:30 p.m. Jack W. Willis, assistant Professor of Electronics and Engineering Technology, will speak on energy conservation, a subject vital to the future.
Willis feels that the people rather than government will ultimately have to solve energy problems. ‘‘We generate these problems and we must find our answer, the better we understand what we face, the more likely we will make the correct decisions,” Willis said.
