To date, knowledgeable .sources have been contacted for ideas and advice. Several towns have been surveyed for existing and potential tree planting areas. Brochures are being distributed to local chambers of commerce, merchants, and other public agencies; and several towns have taken steps toward the organization of tree planting committees and programs.
