Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Joseph Baker of Lynchburg and is also a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is employed at Crawford & Co., Insurance Adjustors.

Mrs. Alexander Green III of Leesburg served as Matron of Honor for her cousin and Miss Katherine Thumm of Norfolk was Maid of Honor. Misses Virginia and Wendy Baker, sisters of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids, as were Mrs. John Gilbert of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Miss Katherine Baldwin of Atlanta, Ga. They wore full length dresses of mauve silesta with a matching jacket of chiffon and carried bouquets of miniature carnations, roses, heather and statis.

Clyde Baker served as best man for his son, and groomsmen were Steve Fanning of Annandale, Don Hostvedt of Blacksburg, John Cafazza of Wakefield, Gary Scott of Lynchburg, Marshall Meredith of Norfolk and Gary Clisham, Richmond.

A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride. After a wedding trip to San Juan, P.R. and St. Thomas, V.I., the couple will reside in Norfolk.
