He explained that the supervisors would hold public hearings on June 7 and 21 for "alternative budgets” prepared by Cox. He assured the audience that no action would be taken on the capital outlay proposals in executive session, adding that the capital outlay budget would be drawn up separately from the rest of proposed county expenditures.
Eldred asked the supervisors to consider holding one of the July meetings at night so working parents could attend.
