Bridge Party

Mrs. W. H. Lyne was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home “Intervale.” Guests included Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs^Mary Quaintance, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. E. A. McNear and Mrs. Brown Miller. Prize winners were Mrs. Quaintance, Mrs. Thompsen, Mrs. Estes and Mrs. Johnson.

Story Hour

New Schedule

Beginning June 13, story hour at the Rappahannock County Public Library will be held every Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Until the new summer schedule is instituted, story hour will be at the regular time: Saturday, May 19, from 10:30 to 11:30 and Saturday, June 2, from 10:30 to 11:30.

Although selections read during story hour are aimed at three to seven year olds, children of all ages and their parents are invited to attend.
