Eckhardt’s application for the permit came after the sheriffs office had received two complaints regarding the matches. “What happens if we get another complaint?” asked Eckhardt. McNear said he would inform any future complainants that the BZA had issued a permit for the shooting range after an advertized public hearing. “No one spoke against it.
