Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence, Kay and Dean, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and Lisa were in Shepherdstown W. Va. Saturday for the graduation of C. G. Lawrence from Shepherd College after completing a two-year course. Sunday they were all guests of Mrs. Dolly Milboume at Elkwood for a family Mother’s Day dinner. Robert Priest was in Wildwood, N.J. on a tour with the Culpeper High School Band.
Mrs. Nelson Corbin, grandsons, Michael and Donnie Corbin and Irva M. Poe spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Corbin and family in Manassas in celebration of Virgil’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Huff of Herndon were weekend guests of Mrs. Sarah Latham and Mrs. David Hoadley and Sarah Kearns of Falls Church were over night guests Saturday. Mrs. John Peck of Spotsylvania was a luncheon guest Saturday of the Latham family and with them attended the quilt fair at Rush River in Washington and Mrs. Williamson’s herb fair at WoodvHIe.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn Mother’s Day were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Tilley and family of Fairfax, the Farrell Nicholas and E. G. Hackley families.
Guests for a Mother’s Day cookout at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Bradley were Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Edwards and Mark of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Hart Colbert, Brian and Coley of near Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Bradley, Tim and Robert and Tommy Bradley, all of Falls Church.
