Herbs don’t need to be dried to use for tea. In spring, summer and fall, we make tea using fresh leaves. Pick a few leaves of each variety. Rinse with water and put in bottom of tea pot. Pour boiling water over them and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add honey-sugar to sweeten. Put in refrigerator and drink cold for a refreshing summer drink. Experiment and make your own favorite combinations. Some suggestions...Comfrey, Lemonbalm and Orange Mint; Rosemary, Lemon Verbena and. Lemonbalm; Spearmint, Thyme and Comfrey.
