cooperation of Mrs. Piper and the Rappahannock Elementary School who hosted the event, the Rappahannock Women’s Club for the generous loan of their ramp and backdrop and the Rappahannock Hunt Club for the loan of their sound speakers. And of course, we owe a great debt to the Rappahannock News for constant coverage and support.
The decorations by Tee Reynolds and the RAAC Historical Dancers added a very special touch of class to the evening. Also to be thanked are the 4-H Junior Leaders who gave up their Saturday night to come and assist with the silent auction.
The evening would ave been lifeless indeed without Peter Kreyling’s sound and lighting expertise. Barbara Sherman’s piano music that historically matched each fashion was a real delight. Vi Vierling’s “stitch witchery” and Margie Righter’s hair styling assistance kept the models and their outfits looking their best. Our auction and sales assistants, June Hawks, Margaret Lee, Charlotte Nichols and Sharon Luke, helped everything run smoothly.
