It was a quiet night in Syracuse, New York. Mrs. Hardy lived alone in a large empty house. She still mourned over her husband's death which occurred approximately two yeai-s ago.
Sara decided to sit down and watch television. She kept changing the channels, but all she could find was a speech by President Reagan. Sara decided to turn it off and listen to some soft music, when suddenly the doorbell rang. It was the postman with a package from a Mrs. Samantha Trapp. Sara eagerly opened it to find what her sister might have wanted to send to her. It was a doll!
After examining it closely. she found that it was the same doll that she had had during childhood. Sara had always hated this doll and had once thrown it into a dump truck as it was passing. She thought that she had rid herself of it until now.
