A Washington man allegedly assaulted two Warrenton policemen last Thursday morning after a disturbance was re])orted by a convenience store employee.

The tw'o officers finally resorted to mace spray to subdue 41-year-old Robert S. Eubank, according to Warrenton Town Police Chief H. Gary Heath.

The incident occurred at 9:50 a.m. when a Broadview Avenue 7-Eleven employee alerted Cpl. E. B. Stubbs as he patrolled the area in his police cruiser, the chief explained.

Eubank, whom the store employee reported was disorderly, was inside a pick-up truck parked outside the convenience store when the officer approached, Said the chief.
