Rappahannock’s Dicky Burke will be among those honored at tonight’s annual Culpeper soil and water conservation district awards banquet at Graves Mountain Lodge.
Burke, a seventh grade student at RCES, took the county’s first place in a conservation week poster contest sponsored by the SWCD. This year’s theme was “natural resources for today and tomorrow.”
Burke receives a cash prize for his poster at tonight’s banquet along with the other first place winners: Wendy Hayes for Culpeper and Stanley Morris for Madison. The contest was open to school children
