Mrs. Brown Miller returned home last Friday after spending ten days with her grandsons, Mike and Mark Murphy in New Canaan, Conn, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Murphy were on a trip to Germany and Switzerland.
Michael Brown of Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg is spending a mid-fall break with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown.
Mrs. T. M. Johnston was in Charlottesville Saturday with Mrs. Andrew Meade, Bethany and Broocks while Mr. Meade was away on business. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Johnston were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reams, Brad and Morgan of Winchester.
Weekend guests of Mrs. Delia Leake were her grandson, Robbie Leake of Etlan and Mrs. Venie Dodson of Manassas.
Those from here attending homecoming services at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday were Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown, Paul and Jason and Mrs. Catherine Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dodson visited Roxie Clater in the VA Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. Saturday evening and report that his condition is improving.
Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown and they had dinner Saturday evening at The Inn at Little Washington.
The Girl Scout Group and their- leader, Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. of Stafford spent the weekend on the T. J. Pillar property.
Mrs. Frances Thornton, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and son, Mike with Mrs. Ruby Hudson and Mrs. Julian Brown of Culpeper joined other members of the Brown Family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson in Fork Union on Sunday for a birthday celebration for Mrs. Francis Churchill Jones (the former Lucy Reid Brown) of Richmond.
