One day, the king was in his chambers practicing when he got a call from his old buddy from school. Bud Mifflin. He said he was in town and was coming for dinner. The king immediately notified the cook and told him to make the best soup he had ever made.
The cook soon had out his hat (which he believed to help him to think) and went to work. The dish he was going to make was called “soup supriza” which had onions, peppers, spices, veggies and meat in it.
While cutting the onions, the cook accidentally cut his finger. His reaction to the pain made him pull his finger away from the knife, over the boiling pot of soup. He had no time to make another pot so he served the soup even though it had three drops of blood in it.
