Scott Keithley broke the tape at the 3.1 Blue Hock Farms course in 14:36, more than a minute lower than the old RCHS record of 15:42 and just 13 seconds slower than the course record set bv Timmy Holler of Stonewall Jackson.

Chris Caperton was second in 14:46. “Chris ran exceptionally well, passing runner after runner in the final mile," Spieker noted.

Elwood Dodson was ninth, finishing in 15:43, his best team standing and his best course time of the season. Right behind him in 15:55 for tenth was Craig Kenyon. "Craig really contributed as a team member,” said Spieker. “He held back Strasburg’s Tracy Rusher (11th in 15:56) so Ricky Shaw could join him for a better placing but unfortunately, Rusher split the two Rappahannock runners in a very close contest.” Shaw came in on his heels for 12th in 16:00.
