A regular attendee at meeting of Rappahannock’s board of zoning appeals in recent months, M.L. “Sonny” McBride from Cnetel, can stop coming for a while now that he obtained approval of request #223.
At its October 12 meeting, the BZA made its latest decision in its “when-is-astructure - not - a - building” debate and approved an application from Centel to install a “portable” 8x10 foot concrete pad for electronicequipment off Route 729.
The application had been rejected the first time it came before the board in July, but McBride asked for reconsideration after the BZA made a favorable ruling in a similar case filed by C’&P Telephone.
In August the BZA decided the C&P pad was not a building under the zoning ordinance since it was
