Police confiscated 146 marijuana plants from the Fergusons as well as: paper bags containing marijuana residue, a small brown bottle of white powder, a "toot” spoon, plastic bags of dried marijuana, marijuana leaves found pressed between the pages of books, roach clips and rolling papers, photographs of the suspects and marijuana, film canisters and bottles full of marijuana seeds, and a letter from a lawyer believed to discuss the suspects’ relationship with drugs, according to a police list ma le at the time of their arrest.
Daniel Ferguson was taken to the Culpeper jail and released on $10,000 cash bond; Madeline Ferguson was taken to the Loudoun County jail and released on her own personal recognizance.
