For the past 12 years, Mrs. Ruhsam has been the librarian of Highland School in Warrenton, where she designed, set up and organized the school library.
Previous to that, Mrs. Ruhsam was an English instructor at various schools, including the Chinese Officers’ Language School in Taipei, Taiwan. She holds a BA degree from the University of Arizona.
Mrs. Ruhsam lives on a farm near The Plains where she raises Angus cattle.
Wakefield’s new librarian has spent the summer reorganizing the library which is located in the recently completed wing of the new addition.
The new library is expected to be open by the start of the coming school year.
