Revival at Gid Brown Church Evangelist Don McCann from Kingsport, Tenn., will be conducting revival services at Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington beginning August 18. The revival will continue through August 23 with services at 7:30 p.m. John K. Burke is pastor of Gid Brown and, with the congregation, invites the public to attend. There will be special singing each evening. A nursery will be provided and transportation can be arranged by calling 675-3662.
Mt. Lebanon to ordain pastor John Warren will be ordained pastor of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in a special service beginning at 1 p.m. on August 25 at the church on Rt. 522 at Scrabble, south of Woodville. All present and former members, friends and neighbors are invited. Immediately following the ordination service, the Warrens will be honored at a picnic at Camp Hazel River. The ladies of the church invite all those attending the picnic to bring a covered dish.
