Jesus said that things concerning him have an end, yet, he also said that his spirit would remain with us forever. Tom writes of things which have not been revealed to him, the divine things behind the wedding supper of milk, honey in the honeycomb and wine (Song of Solomon 5:1). Here we see the nourishment from the Mother, brown sweetness in a physical form, and the symbol which Jesus sanctified as standing for his blood or spirit.
She is a daughter-spirit. She is a voice. But Christ will still be with us in the New Age - the requirement for entrance into the spiritual kingdom of eternal life starting here and now, remains the same. God is free for the asking (ask in secret and you shall receive openly), but a wholehearted submission to God’s will is necessary. After a child of God is born-again of the spirit in this manner, the New Age will empower this sibling in God’s Family to step forth in true righteousness, living Love-In-Action eternally.
And this will be spread around the planet throughout the coming aeon! However, I won’t pretend that I am entirely free from doubts-I do have them.
I really don’t know what to say to Mr. Pierson, except to point out that a stack of accounts of the history of political warfare would tower over the pile for past and present religious wars. And that (although they have done a lot of good, also) Jesus would agree with him about the evil done by religions. He called the established religionists of the time of his advent “a generation of vipers,” and his Revelation to John called the religion which was to be formed in his name and ostensibly around his teachings a “whore,” because of its entanglements in politics and commerce.
