The Page Valley Fair, set for Sunday through Aug. 24, features a tractor pull, competition of three-wheelers, a demolition derby and two shows by Michael Twitty, son of country and western star Conway Twitty.
A horse show at 1 p.m. Sunday starts the fair. A baby contest is set for 5:30 and the beauty contest follows at 7:30 p.m. Sunday after which a Fair Queen will be chosen.
The Younger Brothers highlight the slate Monday and the tractor pull is set for Tuesday.
Michael Twitty headlines Wednesday and Aug. 22 is 4-H day, when all school children will be admitted free and a one-time $5 fee covers tickets to all the rides until they close that night.
The demolition derby is set for 7 p.m. and three wheelers will compete on Saturday, the final night of the fair.

Romisonko closes
concert series
The ninth and final performance of the Bluemont Concert Series is set for Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The last performance features Rumisonko, a group playing the Altiplano music from the mountains of South America, traditional music played on Andean instruments.
Saturday's performance will again be held at the old Warren Green Hotel in downtown Wairenton. In the event of bad weather, the concert will be moved to the Warrenton Junior High School.
A $1 donation is requested. Folding chairs will be available for senior citizens.
Rumisonko has performed at the Lincoln Center in New York City and the Kennedy Center in Washington, as well as the 1982 Bluemont Series.
