Robert E. Jolliffe
Robert Edsel Jolliffe, 58, of Rixeyville, died August 3 at his residence.
A native of Culpeper County, he was a veteran of WW II and a meat cutter for retail grocers.
He is survived by one son, Stephen S. Jolliffe of Fredericksburg; five brothers, Benjamin F. Jolliffe and Silas L. Jolliffe, both of Amissville, Richard J. Jolliffe of Culpeper, Hugh W. Jolliffe of Rixeyville and Fred D. Jolliffe of Fredericksburg, and four sisters, Mrs. Helen Jenkins of Charles Town, W. Va., Mrs. Frances Burke of Brandy Station, Miss Virginia Jolliffe of Culpeper and Mrs. Mary Lou Smith of Orange.
A memorial service was held on August 11 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper.
Margaret C. Hisle
Margaret Clark Hisle, 75, of Ruxton, Md., died on August 11 at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She was married to the late Clarence Phillip Hisle of Rappahannock.
