NAME OF JESUS

Here at Family Worship Center our Christian walk is a very serious matter We want to follow God's word to the letter The greatest gift you could receive right now is the truth about your life. That is the uncompromised word of God. Not just part of it, but all of it. He did not waste His time writing part for now and part for 1900 years ago. It is for you today This week we are going to talk about faith and fasting. Everything you do with the word of God takes faith

Jesus teaches us to live a fasted life. That is to keep the body under subjection. I Cor 9:27. If our body continues to rule us, then it is time to teach it a lesson. Go on a fast Pray about it. I am sure the Father will not lead you into a long fast at first. He may start you out on a one day fast. Then, if your body still trys to rule you, it may take more. Remember, this choice of agony comes before the promise of change If you are led to fast, do it in faith, knowing that God is in this with you. While you are fasting. He will speak to you and give you direction When you fast, read Matt. 6:16 thru 18. Also read Luke 2:37, and Luke 18:12 Paul fasted right after he met Jesus. (Acts 9:9). Then in Acts 10:30, Cornelius fasted and an angel appeared to him. Read Acts 13:2 & 3, and Acts 14:23. You will find all through the New Testament where people fasted and heard from the Lord.
