The Salem Garden Club held its first meeting of the year on Saturday afternoon at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper with Mrs. Edyth Miller as hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and Mrs. Cary Thornhill were guests Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Curtiss in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda, Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. Cary Thornhill visited Mrs. A. B. Honts in Front Royal Friday. Mrs. Thornhill and Mrs. Butler remained overnight with their sister Mrs. Honts, returning to their homes here on Saturday evening.
