Wakefield held its third annual Medieval Banquet this week in celebration of Candlemas, a traditional festival dating from the Middle Ages.
Mrs. Pamela Lynn, who directed the evening’s festivities, originated the idea of the festival as a means of bringing alive the study of medieval history. With the help of her students, she transformed the school’s auditorium into a medieval banquet hall.
